The LiSS® management server offers central administration of extensive and complex security infrastructures that include an unlimited number of LiSS® systems. Communication takes place via active agents on the client systems. Agents are available for all types of LiSS® series.

Pro-active control functions like monitoring and logfile evaluation provide easy recognition of critical system states, so that counter measures can be taken directly. When a gateway crashes, its latest configuration state can immediately be reproduced on a replacement system. This process takes place either manually or for failover systems automatically. An automated intelligent backup strategy for monitored systems reduces the system downtime. Furthermore it brings down additional costs.

reliability
The LiSS® management server works on a crypto file system and administrator access to the server's terminal is secured by smart cards and certificates.  Session management and the segmentation of the system into different secure virtual servers ensure the highest degree of data security. The LiSS® management server also provides updates for administered systems in high-secure, isolated networks.
